WOFAK Health

Health systems are expected to serve the population needs in an effective, efficient and equitable manner. Therefore, the importance of strengthening of public, private and community health systems is of great importance to WOFAK especially as it relates to the most vulnerable in society who are also affected and infected by HIV.

At WOFAK we are engaged in a variety of health initiatives that include but are not limited to Community and home based care, community health education, psychosocial support and counseling, nutritional support, HIV testing and counseling, HIV care and treatment services, basic medical care, Prevention of mother to child HIV transmission (PMTCT), Water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), Maternal and child health (MCH) services, formation and strengthening of community health units and sexual and reproductive health services and referrals.
